Endocannabinoid system

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) was name after the plant that lead to its discovery, is a complex cell-signalling system identified in the early 1990s by researchers exploring THC, a well-known cannabinoid.

The major cannabinoid found in cannabis is cannabidiol (CBD). Unlike THC, CBD doesn’t make you “high” and typically doesn’t cause any negative effects.

Terpenes are naturally produced by all plants on earth and are the essential oil that gives each plant its unique scent, flavour and effect.
